Introduction
Hello my name is Anish, I am a senior at Virginia Tech. My experience with wine is the occasional trips to winery's with my cousins. I don't really drink that much wine outside of the winery's but with this course I hope to find wines that I can enjoy at home.
Out of the wines I have tried, my favorite would have to be the 2015 Merlot at the Bull Run winery in Northern Virginia (link). I prefer red wine over white in most cases, but am always interest in trying white wines as well.
I don't know much about wine, so I don't try new wines that often. But hope to pick that up with the tastings events available for this course. I would like to get a group together to go to tastings and host tastings dinners to work through the course work.
